  • Float Potential @ Providence Holy Family Hospital (5633 N Lidgerwood St, Spokane, WA 99208)

    • Required License / Certifications

  • CNA license (WA State or Compact)
  • BLS (must be AHA)

    • Required Experience

  • Acute Care (9 month minimum)

    • Required Skills :

    Activities of Daily Living

  • Assist with ambulation
  • Assist with feeding patient
  • Assist with turning and repositioning
  • Bed shampoo
  • Change linens (occupied, unoccupied)
  • Complete Bed bath
  • Decubitus care prevention
  • Foot care
  • Incontinence / elimination care
  • Mouth care
  • Perineal care male / female
  • Shave patient
  • Shower assistance
  • Skin care

    • Equipment

  • Oxygen tanks
  • Pulse Oximeter

    • Infection Control

  • Donning and removing PPE
  • Isolation Precautions

    • Procedures

  • Glucose point of care testing
  • Obtain Blood pressure, including orthostatic
  • Obtain patient Respirations
  • Obtain pulse (radial)
  • Obtain Temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, Tympanic)

    • Professional Skills and Knowledge

  • Abnormal Vital sign parameters (Adult and Pedi)
  • Safe patient transfers

    • Recording and Reporting

  • Reporting change in patient condition

    • Age specific competency

  • Middle Adult
  • Older Adult
