Overton Brooks VA Medical Center is recruiting for a full-time Gastroenterologist Physician. Highlights / Requirements

• Starting base salary : $375,000 to - $400,000 per year
• Daily schedule : Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. - 4 : 30 p.m.
• Supervise, mentor, and teach graduates including GI fellows and residents.
• Responsible for management of diagnostic, preventative, and / or therapeutic gastroenterological and endoscopic services.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy, including : bleeding control, polypectomy, EMR, PEGS and dilation.
• Work closely with all health professionals throughout the medical center and provide consultation to other services.
• Possess basic endoscopic skills and have a background and interest in clinical / research participation.
• Current, Full and unrestricted license from any U.S. State
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• Preferred : The Gastroenterologist (GI) provider will be expected to be proficient in all basic GI endoscopy procedures including EGD and colonoscopy.
