TMC USA is seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to support a major capital project in Tulsa. This individual will define and lead the procurement strategy, manage long-lead items, ensure compliance with procurement standards, and drive cost optimization and risk mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Project Management and global suppliers while ensuring strong commercial control and supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the project procurement strategy at major stage gates.
- Manage procurement for Long Lead Items (LLIs) and the complete procurement list.
- Ensure compliance with corporate procurement processes, tools, and standards.
- Work cross-functionally with Project Management, Category Leads, EPCm teams, and contractors.
- Lead risk mitigation, cost optimization, and TCO strategy.
- Manage onsite vendor and contractor relationships, including EHS and logistics coordination.
- Oversee contract awards and ensure transparent commercial decision-making.
- Track project cash flow and resolve payment delays or issues.
- Support audits and ensure strong commercial governance during contract negotiations.
What we expect from you :
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business, or related field.7+ years of procurement experience in an international environment.4+ years supporting Capex projects .Strong contracting, negotiation, and vendor management skills.Proficient with MS Office, SAP, and Ariba.Solid understanding of procurement rules, standards, and procedures.Highly organized, open-minded, and results-driven.Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.Comfortable working in a matrix organization and navigating ambiguity.Problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.Experience leading international and multi-disciplinary project teams.
