Summary :

The Maintenance Coordinator's role will be to improve Technicians' work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.

Duties and Responsibilities :

The coordinator will be the principal contact and liaison between Maintenance, Operations and other supported departments. In this capacity, the planner ensures that all internal departments that require maintenance receive timely, efficient and quality service. The coordinator is responsible for the scheduling and coordination of all planned maintenance work perform within the facilities. Including but not limited to :

• Single point of contact for spare parts sourcing and ordering.
• Coordinating work and scheduling maintenance support for all plant work during plant outages and cleans.
• Coordinating work and scheduling support for any safety or food safety work orders.
• Maintaining good customer service to production and other support departments.

Through the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the coordinator is also responsible for operation and maintenance of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) which is essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters. Including but not limited to :

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands to arms; talk to hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.
