About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician
Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (11 : 00 AM - 9 : 30 PM)
Experience : Minimum of 2 years
License : Valid state license required
Certifications : BLS, ARRT registered required
Must-Have :
- VA state license in hand or proof of application
- Flu vaccine required during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccine required
Description :
The X-Ray Technician will perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
They will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
A valid state license is mandatory for this position.
BLS certification is required.
ARRT registration is necessary to apply.
Preferred candidates will have experience with O-arm and OR skills.
Experience with EPIC is also preferred.
The Flu vaccine is required during flu season.
If the candidate requests a religious or medical exemption for the Flu vaccine, the agency must ensure compliance with guidelines.
The technician will handle various imaging modalities, including fluoroscopic procedures.
They will also assist with portables and outpatient imaging.
Daily tasks may include patient preparation and imaging equipment maintenance.
The environment consists of various patient age groups and diverse clinical situations.
There may be a need to float to different areas if required.
This role emphasizes collaboration within an interdisciplinary support team.
Candidates should be prepared to work some holidays.
All travelers must possess the required licenses and certifications before beginning the assignment.
Orientation will familiarize the selected candidate with facility protocols.
The position is for a smoke / nicotine-free facility.

Preventative measures for patient safety are a priority within this role.
Candidates should expect to adhere to patient care protocols consistently.
