Hey Kiddo is seeking culinary talent! We are hiring an experienced line cook! 1+ years of prior culinary experience is required to apply for these roles. Above all, we require an eagerness to learn and contribute in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment. We pursue team members with a dedicated work ethic and a warm, hospitable demeanor. Above all, we are looking for well-presented, positive individuals who want to be part of a fun, fast-paced work environment. Hey Kiddo is dedicated to zero-waste initiatives including house preservation and fermentation, and supporting local agriculture. We offer a true American menu with worldly influences, an exceptionally well-curated beverage program, and a variety of unique in-house dining options.

The ideal candidate fits the following criteria :

• 1+ years of previous culinary experience
• Knowledgeable and passionate about food
• Basic kitchen knowledge : knife skills, basic cooking techniques, safe food handling, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Zero waste and ingredient cross-utilization mindset
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to fast-paced environments
• Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time and comfortably lift 50 lbs
• Availability to work nights, and weekends
