Job Description

Our client in Western Texas is seeking a full-time permanent Histotechnician or Histotechnologist to join their state-of-the-art laboratory. Interested candidates must have recent laboratory experience and be ASCP certified as a Hisotechnician / Histotechnologist to be considered for this role. This position offers competitive compensation and great benefits.

Responsibilities of the Histotechnologist / Histotechnician (HT / HTL)

Perform histological procedures such as, cutting, embedding, grossing, etc.
Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
Comfortable in a high-volume setting.
Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

Requirements of the Histotechnologist / Histotechnician (HT / HTL)

ASCP certified

AS or BS Degree in Histotechnology preferred

Comfortable working in all areas of the lab.
