Coverage Period : Starting June 12-month assignment
Clinical Shift Schedule : 7a 7p, 7p 7a

COVERAGE DATES

Minimum of 3 shifts / month

Assignment Length : 12 months

Patient Demographics : Adults

Patient Volume : 25,000 annually ( 70 / day)

Admissions : 20.6%

Case Mix : General EM including EMS patients (22.9%)

Support Staff Available : NP / PA coverage 11a 11p

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Louisiana License or IMLC

Board : BC / BE in EM / FM / IM with 3+ years EM experience

Active DEA

Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medical care across a broad patient population

Collaborate with NPs, PAs, and extensive specialty backup teams

Manage patient flow in a 36-bed Emergency Department

Document efficiently in Cerner with Dragon Speak

Deliver safe, timely, and high-quality emergency care
