Schedule Details :

Nights

8 and 12-hour shifts

Every third weekend rotation

Holiday rotation

Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift

Unit Overview :

Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit , where you'll provide care for a diverse and complex patient population, including :

Post-operative craniotomies

Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries

Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients

As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII) , you'll gain exposure to modern neurosurgical techniques and top-quality care.

Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based patient care using the nursing process

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and compassionate care

Utilize clinical judgment and critical thinking for optimal outcomes

Major Responsibilities :

Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized patient care

Recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions

Licensure and Certification Required :

Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

BLS for Healthcare Providers certification by AHA

Education Requirements :

Completion of an accredited nursing program

Experience Requirements :

Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience

Skills and Abilities Required :

Ability to provide holistic patient care

Recognize changes requiring timely interventions

Proficient with electronic medical records systems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organization and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :
