Electrical Technician

This role involves working on commercial and industrial projects, focusing on tasks such as bending EMT, stainless steel, and rigid conduit, while running wires through them. In industrial settings, the work often occurs at client sites, particularly on conveyor systems and other automated equipment that requires electrical expertise. Projects may vary from short-term assignments to longer-term engagements lasting several months. Occasionally, there may be low-voltage tasks, such as running CAT5 cable for data and communication systems.

Responsibilities :

• Bend EMT, stainless steel, and rigid conduit.
• Run wire through conduits in commercial and industrial settings.
• Work on conveyor systems and address electrical components.
• Service automated equipment requiring electrical expertise.
• Travel to different client sites for project assignments.
• Perform low-voltage work such as running CAT5 cable.

Work Environment :

Work in new builds such as warehouses and commercial buildings, or in industrial facilities on conveyor lines and automated equipment. Travel may be required, either using your vehicle or by accompanying another electrician from the workshop in Indianapolis.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
