Surgery Scheduler

As a Surgery Scheduler you will play a key role on our Surgery Counselor Team, providing education and guidance throughout the patient's experience. You will schedule patients for surgery and ensure all appropriate paperwork is completed. This is a temp to hire position.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON :

• Providing instructions to patients with upcoming surgeries.
• Prepare surgical charts.
• Schedule post-op appointments.
• Confirm surgery dates with the patient.
• Check voicemail and return calls within a 24 hour timeframe.
• Assist with other administrative duties and patient communication.
• Understand and is competent at the EMR and Scheduling systems and assist in scheduling patients for surgery.
• Work with Surgical Counselors to ensure optimal patient care and satisfaction.
• Communicate fee schedule, finance options and insurance.
