Type : Full-Time (75 hours biweekly)
7 : 00a - 7 : 30pm, 3 shifts per week
OR
7 : 00pm - 7 : 30am, 3 shifts per week
both shifts have occasional weekend day
Operates radiographic equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and / or Radiologist.
- Evaluates imaging requisitions and confirms requisition with doctor’s order in patient chart.
 - Checks patient’s identify, as outlined by department manual, and instructs patient as to the procedure being performed to obtain their cooperation.
 - Demonstrates proficiency in conducting radiological exams by producing radiographs of good technical quality.
 - Ability to prioritize and identify those imaging requests, which require immediate response in the absence of the Chief Technologist.
 - Produces x-ray films.
 - Prepares and maintains records and files.

REQUIRED :
Formal Radiological Technology training from an accredited school.A valid NYS Radiological Technologist licenseRegistered through A.R.R.T. with (CT) certification.PREFERRED :
Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech
