Continual standing and walking. Recognizing emergency situations. Ability to handle a fast-paced workload. Effective communication skills. Description : Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs CT procedures and patient care requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative for obtaining optimal image quality and exceptional service. Responsible for all aspects of CT imaging procedures which require a sound understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology. Independently selects and modifies technical factors to produce optimum CT scans while prioritizing patient welfare, confidentiality, and comfort. Performs all duties and responsibilities consistent with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Communicates effectively and possesses basic computer knowledge. Capable of manipulating patient transfer equipment, lifting, moving, and transporting patients. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced daily workload and recognize emergency situations. Experience with GE Revolution and Siemens CT scanners is preferred. Knowledge in CTA and Perfusion is preferred. Works in an emergency department setting with trauma, stroke, and perfusion patients. Maintains professionalism and adheres to dress code policies.
