Head of Maintenance

Achieve Together is offering an initial temporary contract of 3–6 months, with a view to extension or permanent position based on performance. Role location : KT22 7TW, hybrid 2 / 3 days office based with site visits.

Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Achieve Together’s maintenance operations, including planning, scheduling and executing repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of facilities and equipment.

• Directing and mentoring a maintenance team, ensuring they are skilled, motivated, and capable.
• Developing and implementing maintenance plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure efficient operations and minimise downtime.
• Overseeing routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs.
• Developing and managing the maintenance budget, including allocating resources, forecasting costs, and negotiating contracts.
• Working with the Achieve Together New Development Team ensuring that new‑build properties comply with building regulations, accessibility specifications and health and safety requirements.
