Summary

The Core Measures Program Coordinator provides strategic leadership and expert guidance in all aspects of Core Measure performance across the care continuum. In this highly impactful role, you will oversee the planning, abstraction, analysis, and reporting of Core Measure data aligned with CMS public reporting requirements.

You will partner closely with Administration, Medical Staff, Nursing Leadership, Decision Support, and multiple ancillary departments to drive performance improvement initiatives that elevate quality, enhance compliance, and strengthen clinical outcomes. This role is essential in advancing organizational readiness, regulatory performance, and excellence in patient care.

You will also support the Medical Staff Quality Department and System Director in fostering a professional, high-performing, data-driven environment committed to continuous improvement and clinical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the Core Measures Team in planning, abstraction, data validation, and reporting of Core Measure performance.

Direct and monitor the coordination, collection, and analysis of Core Measure data for CMS public reporting and regulatory readiness.

Collaborate with leaders across the system to identify improvement opportunities, implement evidence-based solutions, and enhance compliance with national quality benchmarks.

Serve as the primary liaison between Quality, Administration, Medical Staff, Nursing, Decision Support, and ancillary departments.

Contribute to the development of a professional, efficient, and high-quality department through support of departmental leadership initiatives.

Requirements

Education

Bachelors degree required (BSN or other bachelors degree).

Completion of three to four years of formal education or equivalent training beyond high school.

Experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Physician Quality or a related clinical quality role (required).

Licensure

Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license (required).

Certifications

Certifications as required by position and organizational standards (if applicable).
