Rates :

Hourly : $250 / clinic

On Call (Daily) : $2500

Callback : $325 / hr

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified OB / GYN to provide locum tenens coverage. This position involves both clinic and hospital responsibilities, including routine obstetric and gynecologic care, high-risk pregnancies, deliveries, and surgical procedures.

The physician will work collaboratively with a team of three OB / GYNs and two Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) in a supportive and well-equipped practice.

Schedule

Clinic : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM

4 clinic days per provider

Average 15-20 patients / day

Call : 1 in 4 rotation, covering approximately 8 days per month

CNMs typically take the first call on weekends

20-minute call response time required

Deliveries : 6 deliveries per week per physician

Caseload

Low-Risk Pregnancy : 50%

High-Risk Pregnancy : 50%

C-Sections : 20%

Office GYN : 35%

Surgical GYN : Diagnostic / minor and operative / major procedures

Required Procedures

Obstetrics :

Routine and complicated deliveries (e.g., vaginal, forceps, C-sections, breech, multiple births, etc.)

Repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations

Fetal heart rate interpretation, OB ultrasounds, and NST / CST / FSE

Gynecology :

Office procedures : IUDs, colposcopy, LEEP, cryosurgery, cystoscopy, etc.

Surgical procedures : Open laparoscopic diagnostic / minor (e.g., tubal ligations, LOAs), ectopic pregnancy management, ovary removal, cystectomy, and more

Requirements

Board Certification : Required (ABMS / AOA)

Licensure : Active Colorado license or eligibility under IMLC

Experience : Demonstrated experience in routine and high-risk obstetrics and gynecologic procedures

Exam Rooms : 13

Onsite Services : Lab and ultrasound performed by techs

Nursery Services : Level II (transfer available to higher-level NICU)

EMR System : Epic
