- Maintain and repair commercial diesel trucks and trailers
- Evaluate mechanical and electrical problems by using diagnostic equipment
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and preventative care
- Check and repair electrical systems and accessories
- Check and repair vehicle heating and cooling systems
- Road test vehicles to troubleshoot problems and test repairs
- Perform road calls to make repairs offsite
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company and OSHA standards
