Travel Nursing Job Details Job Title : Med / Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Contract Location : Seneca, SC 29672 (South Carolina healthcare jobs) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract Start Date : November 24, 2025 End Date : February 23, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night shift, 12-hour shifts (19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Weekly Hours : 36 (option for 48-hour contract available) Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1730 Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg), Surgical Specialty (Non-telemetry) Patient Ratio : 5 : 1 Weekend Coverage : Required Orientation : 24 hours plus up to 16 hours of reimbursable pre-assignment modules Facility : Modern hospital, 36 beds, average daily census of 23 adult patients Registered Nurse Qualifications Active South Carolina RN license or multistate compact RN license (required for South Carolina nursing jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg RN experience in a U.S. healthcare setting At least 1 year of experience with Epic EMR (electronic medical records) Current AHA BLS certification Current NIHSS certification Flu vaccine required (no exemptions) Must reside at least 100 miles from any Prisma Health facility (or 50 miles for night shift travelers in select specialties) Proficiency in Med / Surg nursing skills : IV starts, wound care, blood product administration, tracheostomy care, feeding tube management, chest tubes, colostomy care, oxygen administration, PCA, PICC line management, and more Willingness to float to other qualified medical-surgical units as needed Med / Surg RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to adult patients on a busy Med / Surg unit Manage a patient load of 5 : 1 during night shifts Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team (physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, social services, and more) Accurately document patient care and assessments in Epic EMR Float to other medical-surgical or qualified units as required Complete orientation and all required pre-assignment modules Provide weekend coverage as scheduled Ready to join our healthcare team in Seneca, SC and take the next step in your travel nursing career?
