Join our Sibley Nursing Team as an In-Patient Oncology Registered Nurse

With its 318 beds, this non-profit, full-service acute care hospital offers medical, surgical, intensive care, obstetric, oncology, orthopedic, skilled nursing inpatient services, and a 24-hour Emergency Department. Sibley's campus is also home to Grand Oaks, an assisted living residence; a medical building with physician offices and ambulatory surgery and imaging centers; and the new patient tower with 200 spacious, private rooms.

Specialized Unit Details :

25 bed Oncology unit with a BMT specialty component, an emphasis on the acute hematology patients and symptom management for all person experiencing issues related to their cancer diagnosis.

Unit / Schedule :

• 25 Bed Inpatient Oncology unit
• Full-time 36 hours / week, benefitted
• 12-hour Night shifts (7p to 7a)

Minimum Education and Experience :

• Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia
• Graduation from an accredited program for Registered Nurses
• 1+ year RN experience
• Chemo / bio-Therapy Certification preferred or obtain within 1 year of hire; fully paid for by Sibley Memorial Hospital.
• AHA CPR card

Salary Range : Minimum 41.99 / hour - Maximum 65.08 / hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
