As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care that enriches the lives of our residents. Your day kicks off by receiving patient reports and reviewing care plans, setting the stage for your hands-on responsibilities. Throughout your shift, you will engage in a variety of clinical tasks, from monitoring vital signs and administering medications to changing dressings and assisting with personal hygiene. Collaborating closely with Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians, you'll communicate essential updates on patient conditions to ensure seamless continuity of care. As a vital point of contact for residents and their families, you will provide education and emotional support, fostering a trusting relationship.

What matters most
To thrive as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Legacy Nursing and Rehabilitation, you must possess a unique blend of skills and competencies essential for delivering exceptional care to our residents. A successful LPN holds a state-approved Practical Nursing program completion and has passed the NCLEX-PN for licensure. Certifications in CPR / BLS are often required, with additional training in geriatric care being a significant asset.
