Excellent Non-Interventional Cardiology Opportunity with Large Physician Owned Group Practice

Hattiesburg Clinic, P.A., one of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty clinics in Southeast Mississippi, is seeking a BE / BC Invasive / Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join the group in one of our South Mississippi facilities.

We currently have 15 cardiologists serving over 600,000 patients in our 19-county area. The new cardiologist would join two of these cardiologists at the Heart Care Center in Laurel, Mississippi. The position will entail both an outpatient and inpatient practice at South Central Regional Medical Center.  Call will be one in five.

Laurel, Mississippi, is conveniently located two hours from New Orleans and within hours of the coastal areas of Alabama and Florida. Two Universities, a DO Medical School and a new community-based family medicine residency program are in close proximity.

The Heart Care Center also has a full complement of outpatient cardiac diagnostic modalities including stress test, nuclear SPECT, echocardiography, vascular lab, event and Holter monitoring.

The Invasive / Non-Interventional Cardiologist will have the opportunity to provide diagnostic heart catheterizations, pacemaker / defibrillator implantations, Loop Recorder Implantations as well as a full range of non-invasive services including echocardiography, TEE, peripheral vascular and stress tests.
