Job Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Maintenance Consultant – Manufacturing Operations to support and enhance maintenance performance across operational processes. The consultant will assess current maintenance systems, recommend improvements, ensure compliance with industry standards, and promote a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong background in maintenance leadership in a manufacturing environment as well as mechanical and electrical troubleshooting proficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Evaluate existing maintenance systems and operational processes to identify gaps and risks.
• Leading 5-10 consultants on a project to set up maintenance organizations (people and systems) reporting out weekly status on project deliverables and KPI’s.
• Develop and implement OEE improvement initiatives and action plans that align with operational goals to reduce equipment downtime and reduce defects / scrap.
• Support the deployment of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and supporting activities to improve maintenance KPIs MTTR, MTBF and response time.
• Lead problem solving and root cause analysis of mechanical, electrical, automation issues to prevent reoccurrence. (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, DMAIC, 8D).
• Establish technical department training and skills gap closure with industry best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams to reduce scrap and quality defects.
• Ensure effective LOTO are in place for the technical team in partnership with local safety teams for compliance to local regulations.
