COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Cardiac pacemaker or cardioverter / defibrillator insertion, revision, replacement, and removal

Conversion of cardiac rhythm

Measurement of cardiac rhythm (percutaneous approach)

Cardiac ablation procedures

Watchman device implantation

Loop recorder implantation and removal

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Illinois license required (IMLC not accepted)

Board : Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiac Electrophysiology

DEA : Active DEA Certification required

Certifications : ACLS, CSR License

Experience : Minimum 1 year

Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Epic EMR

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology services

Perform diagnostic and interventional EP procedures

Participate in multidisciplinary care for cardiac surgery and structural heart patients

Consult with hospitalist and ICU teams for admitted patients

Deliver continuous coverage during the anticipated departure of current EP physician

Manage telephone call coverage with 30-minute response time

Support growing cardiac surgery and structural heart program
