About this Opportunity
A Social Work Trainer - Child Welfare provides initial and ongoing training and support to new and existing social work staff in the areas of Child Protective Services Intake, Assessments, In-home Services, and Permanency Planning. This role will conduct individual, group, and field-based training; areas of training will include State and Agency Policies and Procedures, use of the agency document management system (Traverse), all areas of casework, and general social work practice. This position includes developing and revising training curricula and materials as needed; preparing and completing reports as requested and performing other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
Must be physically able to operate a variety of office equipment. Must be able to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
