Job Description

We offer a merit-based work-from-home program based on job responsibilities. After initial training in-person, this specific role could have the flexibility to work from home up to three days per week.

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated Customer Service Representative to join our team. The position requires the person to :

• Communicate and work with customers and associates at all levels
• Assist with reviewing and answering basic inquiries from customers
• Make computer inquiries and entries relating to customer accounts
• Communicate with customers and others as needed to research problems and find solutions
• Collect pertinent information from customers to handle inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
• Prioritize and organize work to ensure it is completed in a timely manner
• Document customer requests and assist agents with basic tasks
• Work with confidential and / or sensitive information, data, and matters in accordance with Company standards
• Maintain punctual attendance according to an assigned work schedule at a Company approved work location
• Assist with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere upon request
