Pilates Instructor (Part-Time)

In this role, you will be responsible for helping our members and guests achieve health and fitness goals by instructing group and private Pilates classes on state-of-the-art equipment and mats, while delivering exceptional experiences.

Responsibilities

• Receive client intake forms with signature and date for every client.
• Perform client evaluations to establish baseline measurements, understand limitations, general health, and personal goals.
• Instruct clients using proper form and safe methods on equipment including, but not limited to, Reformer, Springboard, Exo-Chair, and hand weights, to ensure a safe and excellent experience.
• Conduct private, semi-private, duo or other sessions as needed.
• Visually inspect equipment prior to each class or session to ensure it is in good working order and safe to use; communicate any issues to management.
• Maintain a safe and clean Pilates studio; update schedule daily to ensure accuracy with appointments.
• Enter member charges through POS for trained sessions; maintain clients and their schedules.
• Arrive at least five minutes early to prepare for clients or classes.
• Contact clients and management to cancel due to illness as needed.
• Create personalized service using name recognition and promote ongoing and upcoming programs and activities.
• Execute duties with professionalism and service aligned with the company's values, mission, and standards; maintain professional relationships with team members and members.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming; attend staff meetings; maintain continuing education credits for certification.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
