About the Opportunity

Avento Health is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join a hospital-employed cardiology group in the Greater Chicago area.

This position offers a collaborative environment, advanced technology, and an established referral network in a rapidly expanding cardiovascular program.

The role is based at a leading 460-bed regional hospital located just 30 minutes from downtown Chicago, offering the perfect balance of professional fulfillment and easy access to world-class amenities.

Position Highlights

• Established EP program with high AF ablation volume, as well as SVT and VT ablations, device implants, extractions, and LAA closures
• Inpatient and outpatient practice across two hospitals (85% of practice at main facility)
• Two dedicated EP labs with state-of-the-art mapping systems, plus two hybrid and four cath labs
• Robust cardiology service line including interventional, general, structural, and CT surgery programs
• Collegial team of 2 EPs, 5 interventional cardiologists, 5 noninvasive cardiologists, and 5 nurse practitioners
• Dedicated research team supporting clinical trials and innovation in electrophysiology
• EPIC EMR - fully integrated HIMSS Stage VII system (top 5% nationally)
