Job Details – Cardiac Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

Location : Johnson City, NY 13790 – Access top-rated parks, shopping, and cultural amenities in the Greater Binghamton area.

Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Cath Lab, Medical-Surgical (Med / Surg)

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Job

Start Date : December 4, 2025

End Date : March 28, 2026

Contract Duration : 16 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift : Day shifts (0700-1530 or 0700-1730); flexible scheduling (4x10h or 5x8h)

Shift Duration : 10 hours (flexible scheduling)

On-Call : Minimum once per week and every fourth weekend; holiday on-call required (e.g., 12 / 24 evening / night)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program

Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross)

Completion of Apex (Stroke education / NIHSS)

At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience (6 months to 3 years preferred)

Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills

Preferred : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), CCRN certification, and prior acute care or ambulatory experience

RN Responsibilities – Cardiac Cath Lab & Med / Surg

Assess, plan, delegate, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Cardiac Cath Lab

Serve as primary or accountable nurse as assigned

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management

Administer medications safely per hospital policy

Ensure compliance with nursing practice standards, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies

Participate in shared governance, quality improvement, and peer review initiatives

Engage in professional development and mandatory education

Support onboarding of new employees and students

Perform charge nurse or shift coordinator duties as needed

Other nursing duties as assigned
