RN - Emergency Department

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ED)

Location : Albany, NY

Duration : 13 Weeks contract with possible extension

Pay range - $65 / hr - $70 / hr.

We are also offering travel and per diem packages that is based on eligibility.

Schedule :

Work Hours : 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)

Shift Timing : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM

Job Summary :

We are seeking experienced Emergency Department travel nurses to provide frontline care in a high-volume, high-acuity setting. The ED sees a diverse patient population ranging from trauma cases and cardiac emergencies to acute illnesses. The role requires quick critical thinking, strong triage abilities, and excellent communication under pressure. Epic EMR experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities :

• Rapid assessment and triage of incoming patients
• Administer medications, initiate IV access, and provide emergency interventions
• Monitor vital signs and clinical condition during high-stress situations
• Communicate and coordinate with physicians, specialists, and support staff
• Document care accurately and timely in Epic EMR
• Support infection control, patient safety, and emergency protocols
• May float to other units as needed
