CDL Driver – Pickup, Delivery & Light Mechanical Support

Location : Greensboro, NC

Pay : $24–$28 / hour (based on experience)

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00am - 5 : 00pm; occasional Saturdays as needed | 40 hours / week

About the Role

National Fleet Management is looking for a dependable, safety-focused CDL Driver to join our Greensboro team. In this role, you’ll handle the pickup and delivery of trucks and parts, conduct test drives, and assist with light mechanical support in the shop.

This position plays a key role in improving workflow efficiency, reducing turnaround times, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

What You’ll Do

Safely operate company vehicles for truck and parts pickup and delivery

Conduct test drives to verify repair quality and assist with diagnostics

Perform light mechanical work such as inspections and minor shop support

Maintain accurate delivery, inspection, and service records

Communicate effectively with Service Advisors, Technicians, and Managers

Deliver outstanding customer service and represent NFM professionally

Follow all DOT, safety, and company regulations

What We’re Looking For

Valid Class A or B CDL and clean driving record

2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred

Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

Reliable, self-motivated, and organized

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced shop environment
