Job Title : 3rd Shift General Labor – Reclaim / Scrap Operator

Location : Chesapeake, VA

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire

Shift : 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 15 AM,

As a Reclaim / Scrap Operator , you’ll play a key role in supporting recycling operations and maintaining a safe, clean production environment. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Machine Operators in recycling scrap aluminum and reclaiming materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all safety and environmental protocols.
• Perform Lockout / Tagout procedures and operate safely around moving equipment.
• Clean machines and remove debris from burners and equipment.
• Draw ATH for disposal and assist with machine maintenance.
• Support team training and cross-training initiatives.
• Operate pallet jacks and perform material handling tasks.
• Maintain forklift certification (provided by Mitsubishi).
• Wear required PPE including safety shoes, glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00 / hr.
