It has a staff of 45, including various roles for day and night shifts. Patient ratios are maintained at 6 : 1. Standard nursing equipment is available, including BiPAP and cardiac monitors. The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech 6.0. The ideal candidate will possess a positive, outgoing attitude and understand the importance of patient satisfaction. The unit primarily deals with cardiopulmonary conditions but can accept a variety of general medical patients. Nurses should be capable of monitoring cardiac needs and handling stable patients, including those recovering from COVID-19. A collaborative work environment exists, with strong relationships among team members and support staff. Visible and involved leadership is present on all shifts, fostering teamwork across the board. Nurses will receive support from assistive staff such as PCTs, CNAs, and Nurse Externs on all shifts. Staff members exhibit a range of experience, from newly graduated nurses to those with 20 years of experience. Every other weekend and major holidays are required for duty, but there are no on-call requirements. The work environment promotes self-motivation and accountability among staff.
