Job description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring an active OH or compact RN license with recent L&D experience.

Job Details

  • Position is in a hospital Labor and Delivery unit,
  • Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week from 11 : 00pm to 11 : 30am,
  • Care for laboring, delivering, and postpartum patients,

Job Requirements

  • Active permanent OH or compact RN license in hand,
  • AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required and must be active,
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Labor and Delivery experience,
  • At least one professional reference from a supervisor in Labor and Delivery is required,
  • Must provide copy of driver's license and Social Security card,
  • Willingness to undergo BCI / FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing,

    • Additional Information

  • Will complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate during orientation with two attempts allowed to pass each assessment,
  • Modules must be completed prior to start date and annually thereafter,
  • All travelers must complete onsite badging and fingerprinting prior to the start,
  • Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine (Cotinine) drug screen required within 12 months of start,
  • Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to the facility for 1 year after previous end date,
  • PAPRs not permitted for individuals with facial hair unless an approved medical or religious exemption is provided,
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate,
