Event Support Team Member

We are looking for a detail-oriented and efficient event support team member to assist with up to four days support for an on-site conference support in New York, New York. This is a contract position ideal for individuals who excel in delivering exceptional customer service. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who is comfortable handling multiple tasks and engaging directly with attendees.

Responsibilities :

• Welcome and assist conference attendees with a detail-oriented and friendly demeanor.
• Provide guidance and answer questions about event sessions and locations.
• Distribute badges, lanyards, and conference materials to attendees.
• Manage the registration tables and ensure smooth operations throughout the event.
• Offer general support to the conference team, addressing any immediate needs.
• Assist attendees in completing the registration process using laptops.
• Handle the unpacking and preparation of materials, including lifting boxes weighing 25-40 pounds.
• Maintain a high level of efficiency and attention to detail in all tasks.
• Ensure punctuality and readiness to adapt to the dynamic event environment.
