We are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This Contract to permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to lead audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The role involves overseeing audit processes, mentoring team members, and providing strategic insights to improve business operations.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and execute audit, review, and compliance engagements across multiple industries.
• Prepare detailed audit strategies and assess risk factors to ensure compliance.
• Review financial statements and disclosures to verify adherence to reporting standards.
• Coordinate and schedule audit projects to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Supervise and mentor audit team members to support their development and performance.
• Conduct research on complex accounting issues and deliver practical solutions.
• Identify opportunities to enhance client services and build strong relationships.
• Oversee the preparation and review of work papers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with audit partners to address technical matters and optimize engagements.
• Stay current with industry developments and software tools to enhance audit processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
• Active CPA license or CPA eligibility is strongly preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in audit within public accounting.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess risks effectively.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and engagements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• High ethical standards and professionalism in client interactions.
