Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team on a temporary assignment. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, communication, and swallowing disorders. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact while exploring new clinical settings and locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across the lifespan.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and evidence-based practice.
  • Provide therapy and interventions to improve communication and swallowing functions.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational and physical therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, progress, and home exercise programs.
  • Adhere to all facility, state, and federal regulations and maintain compliance with professional and ethical standards.

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • License : Current and valid state license (or eligibility for licensure) as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the assignment state.
  • Certification : Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology ( CCC-SLP ) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) required.
  • Experience : Minimum of 1–2 years of recent experience in speech therapy (experience in schools, acute care, skilled nursing, or outpatient settings preferred).
  • Travel experience preferred but not required.
