Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment (Front-End) Highlights

The pay for this position is

$18.50–$21.50 per hour.

Full-Time Schedule :

Monday–Friday, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM (preferred)

Some flexibility for a 7 : 00 AM start and potential evening / weekend overtime.

Location :

Frisco, TX and Tempe, AZ

Training is

12 weeks

, 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 30 PM.

This position is a

contract role

with potential for extension or permanent hire based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Process prescription exceptions, including resolving claim rejects and conducting member or physician outreach.

Enter member demographics and prescription details into the data processing system accurately.

Research and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and escalated member inquiries.

Escalate questions regarding prescriptions to a Pharmacist for interpretation or direction on processing.

Assist with inbound and outbound patient or physician calls.

Enter new prescriptions and manage exceptions, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Provide pharmacist callback and / or patient quality assurance support.

Load insurance plans and coordinate benefits for new patients or referrals.

Review and audit test claims for new referrals or patients.

Process reorders, manage image indexing, and file adverse event (AE) reports as required.

Support specialized programs such as ETT or Pharma that require additional handling or specific disease state management.

Perform back-end support duties such as picking, packing, and manifesting based on business needs.

Complete other pharmacy-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED

required.

2–4 years of pharmacy technician experience

required.

Current Pharmacy Technician registration and certification

as required by state of operation.

Strong computer and data entry skills.

Excellent communication, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
