Job Details

Position / Specialty : Cath Lab RN

Shift : The team works 4 ten-hour shifts, Monday through Friday 6 : 30 am to 5 pm.

Ratio : We have a Cath Lab team consisting of 3 full time nurses, as well as a Cath Lab with a pre / post procedure area that includes 4 bays. The pre / post area is staffed by 2 registered nurses. Only 1 Cath Lab procedure room.

Weekend REQ? No

Is on-call REQ? Yes, Monday–Saturday (our callback is only for post PCI patients that need to be brought back into Cath lab. No STEMI call)

Will this traveler float between service lines? No

Floating Req to Sister Facilities : No

Job Requirements

Years of experience REQ : 2 years

License REQ : Yes, SC license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start

National Certs REQ : BLS, ACLS

Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Schedule Information

Open to accommodating block schedule? Requires managers approval upon request.

Local Radius : 60-mile radius rule

Locals Accepted : Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less the posted bill rate

RTO Restrictions for Client Offers : All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs

Guaranteed Hours : Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift

Radiation Badge REQ : Yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers

Additional Details

Qualivis : Attestation required confirming work eligibility in the US and that Agency Staff does have a completed and accurate I-9 form on file.

Copy of Driver's License Required

Copy of Social Security Card is required.

Qualivis : Please require if nurse is working on a compact license
