Pay Rate : $18.06-$22.26 per hour

35 hours per week; Monday-Friday day shift; follows school calendar
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate care of students including health, safety and personal care
- Provide behavioral support with students as assigned
- Take direction from the Behavior Therapist, Behavior Therapy Supervisor, Lead Crisis Intervention Specialist, or Behavior Department Manager on a daily basis
- Participate on an interdisciplinary team to provide initial and on-going evaluations for each student and to establish appropriate therapeutic goals and program recommendations
- Maintain certification in all agency approved crisis intervention programs
- Stay current in the field of Behavior Analysis by participating in department meetings and ongoing professional development
- Provide the Behavior Therapist with information and observations concerning the students' progress, behavior, needs and general well-being
- Support the implementation of evidence-based practices throughout the agency
- Assist classrooms during behavioral crisis situations which may include the implementation of emergency physical interventions
- Assist the Behavior Therapists with data computation, data entry, and data filing
- Complete fidelity checks to assist Behavior Therapists in ensuring proper implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans, reporting any concerns
- Assist Behavior Therapists with setting up data sheets to monitor students' Behavior Intervention Plans, and assist with training classroom teams on the use of data sheets
- Assist classroom teams with conducting preference assessments
- Work across all programs, in any assigned classroom as needed, responding appropriately to any needs
- Other duties may be assigned
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or EquivalentAt least 1 year of related experience and / or training with students with developmental delays or equivalent combination of education and experienceAbility to read, write, speak and understand English including interpreting documents such as safety rules and policy and procedure manualsEEO Statement :
