Transportation Construction Manager Resident Engineer

Tectonic is currently seeking a full-time Transportation Construction Manager / Resident Engineer interested in working on upcoming projects in the Glastonbury CT area. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile and challenging projects and for professional growth and development!

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Assists with management of various public sector engineering and transportation projects including oversight and project review visiting field offices and filling-in to support project staff as needed;
• Provides leadership to field staff and engineering teams;
• Performs contract negotiations with clients contractors and subcontractors to obtain rates and contract amendments for the benefit of the Company;
• Establishes and monitors schedules and budgets as they relate to assigned projects and assists with billing reviews and invoicing as needed;
• Assists with business development efforts including proposal development marketing activities and traveling to trade shows / industry events as needed to assist in development process;
• Performs project site visits as needed;
• All related duties as required to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.

PAY RANGE

Tectonics goal is to compensate employees fairly and equitably across all positions Companywide. Our advertised pay ranges are representative of our good faith effort to provide a reasonable anticipated salary range. The offered pay may be outside of the provided salary range based upon the selected candidates work location experience education certifications and capabilities compared to the advertised position.

Pay Range : $175000 - $230000
