Pay Information $1,614 per week About The Position Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical Duration : 12 Weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 Experience : Minimum 1 year of inpatient med / surg experience License : Current Registered Nurse License Certifications : BLS Must-Have : Recent Epic experience required (within 6 months) Minimum 1 year of inpatient med / surg experience Description : RN Med Surg position available. The shift is 3, 12-hour days. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a med / surg inpatient setting. Recent experience with Epic charting is required. Patient ratios are 6 : 1 during the day. The daily census in the unit is approximately 37 patients. The unit primarily serves adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Telemetry monitoring is done in a centralized unit. Floating to units of equal or lesser acuity may be required. Experience with interpretation and management of dysrhythmias is preferred. Isolation precautions knowledge is essential. Candidates should have skills in managing peripheral lines and nasal cannulas. No travel experience is required for this position.
