Job Description
Primarily responsible for the ongoing task of general customer service, including sample receiving and support of project management. The Customer Service Representative serves as our customers’ primary point of contact within the company.
- Applies GMP / GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Routine use of computers, primarily via spreadsheets and word processing software.
- Routine use of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Advanced sample interpretation of clients' analytical requirements and data entry into computer system by keeping up-to-date with technical center requirements
- Maintain client files
- Handling of incoming informational calls into department
- Read, understand, and carry out SOPs; follow all safety precautions and procedures
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned

High school diploma required, college degree highly preferred.Preferred prior sample management experienceValid Driver's LicenseA high degree of computer literacy and familiarity with common applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel is required.Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; very strong organizational skillsPosition may require working off-site at client locations, depending upon customer requirements and business tempo.General familiarity with overall laboratory services and various regulatory programs is essential to success.Detail oriented; work independently, yet be part of the team; satisfactory technical skills, including logical thinking and deductive reasoningHandle multiple priorities; professionalism; problem solving; handle medium stress level; organized thinking process; multitask; able to retain large amounts of informationAdditional Information
