NOTE- HEAVY CALL!Unit Information : Ultrasound Tech (729)Location : JFK MAINAddress : 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462Floor : Building : Main General InformationTell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds 4 Scanners, 4 table Number of Staff 4 Tech 24 hours a day, 12 hour shifts Type of staff : 4 Techs totalo Day Shift 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shiftso Night Shift 4 Techs, 1 table, 12 hour shifts Patient Ratios 1 : 1 Type of equipment - GE, 1.5 , Discovery 450, X-Ray, MRI and CT machines EMR MeditechTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS, RDMS & RVT 2 years Hospital experience as an Ultrasound TechPreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. ACLS but not requiredList typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Operate equipment that utilizes sound waves to create images of the body s internal structures Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessmentBest personality Fit : Critical thinker, flexible, no call associated, willing to work weekends and nights Work independently is a MUST, adaptable, flexibleDress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
