CNC Programmer MachineTeam Lead

Position Summary :

The CNC Programmer / Machine Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the CNC machining department. This includes supervising machinists ensuring production schedules are met maintaining quality standards and coordinating with engineering and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge of CNC machines leadership experience and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Schedule : Monday - Thursday 5 : 00am - 3 : 30 pm

Hourly Range : $25 - $30

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and supervise a team of CNC machinists and operators across multiple shifts.
• Schedule and prioritize work orders to meet production deadlines.
• Set up program and operate CNC machines as needed (mills lathes etc.).
• Setup and operate manual control machines.
• Design and create custom fixtures.
• Document procedures such as set up sheets tooling library etc.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and provide technical support to team members.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards (ISO AS9100 etc.).
• Train and mentor new and existing employees on machining practices and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality departments to resolve design or process issues.
• Monitor tool wear machine maintenance and coordinating repairs or preventive maintenance.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Serve as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in productivity quality and efficiency.
