ICU RN Job Details
Location : Kennewick, WA 99338 – The largest city in the Tri-Cities area, renowned for its recreational landscapes, 27 public parks, three golf courses, and as the center of Washington Wine Country. Enjoy proximity to Seattle, Portland, Spokane, and direct flights to 10 major U.S. cities.
Assignment Type : Travel nursing assignment
Unit : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), 2nd Floor
Shift : 12-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM), every other weekend required
Weekly Hours : 36 hours guaranteed
Assignment Length : 13 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 1 / 26 / 2026)
Patient Ratio : 1 : 2, with charge nurse not assigned to patients
Electronic Health Record : Paragon
Estimated Weekly Salary : $1880 - $2020
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required
Medical ICU and TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) experience preferred
Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel nurse jobs
ICU RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients in a 14-bed medical ICU
Manage patients with sepsis, respiratory conditions, cardiac cases, and trauma cases
Operate advanced ICU equipment, including IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) as needed
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure best practices and optimal patient outcomes
Float within the ICU unit as required
Demonstrate accountability, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous clinical improvement
