Requirements / Qualifications :
Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse License required
BSN required
MSN preferred
Basic Life Support BLS through the American Heart Association AHA required
ACLS required
2 years of nursing experience required
Management experience preferred
Job Responsibilities :
Provides leadership and direction in order to fulfill the goals and objectives of the unit / organization
Effectively communicates information to staff, utilizes resources and manages staff and services
Assists the Director with the daily operations of the unit and delegated responsibilities
50 percent patient care responsibilities
Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll
Effectively collaborates with inter-disciplinary teams and drives Through-put and staff accountability
