Physician / Hospitalist / Massachusetts / Permanent / Hospitalist - Inpatient Job

A healthcare organization in Massachusetts is actively seeking a licensed Physician to join their growing Inpatient Hospitalist team in Essex County. In this role, theHospitalist will be responsible for managing the treatment for patients admitted to the facility.

Responsibilities :

The Hospitalist will :

Direct care and develop comprehensive treatments plans for adult hospitalized patients

Communicate with patients and / or their designated healthcare advocate on progress and plans

Ensure appropriate transfer of care when assigned hours of service end and upon patient discharge from the hospital

Document daily involvement in patient care in the medical record and record charges appropriate to the level of service provided and documented

Participate in quality and process improvement projects as well as hospital committees

Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications :

Licensed to practice in the State of Massachusetts

Board Eligible / Certified in Family and / or Internal Medicine Desired Skills :

Bilingual (English and Spanish)

Working knowledge of Meditech Expanse Electronic Medical Record system
