Job Title : NOC Technician I
Location : Hybrid – Cary, NC (On-site Tues–Thurs, Remote Mon / Fri)
Schedule : Standard hours 8 AM – 5 PM, with flexibility for alternate shifts as needed
Employment Type : Full-Time
About the Role :
We’re looking for a NOC Technician I to join our Network Operations team in Cary, NC. This team plays a critical role in monitoring and maintaining network infrastructure assets that support both field operations and strategic programs. As the first line of defense, you will provide real-time surveillance, incident response, and escalate alarms to ensure fast and effective issue resolution.
This is a hybrid role requiring on-site presence Tuesday through Thursday , with remote work on Mondays and Fridays .
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor network activity and open trouble tickets, performing initial triage and basic break / fix actions
- Provide end-to-end support and track incidents in the ticketing system
- Respond to customer inquiries and support service level agreements (SLAs)
- Communicate and coordinate across internal teams, third-party vendors, and customers
- Open and manage NOTAMs (Notice to Airmen) for outages affecting lighted towers
- Escalate unresolved outages or impairments within prescribed timeframes
- Provide feedback to improve NOC tools, procedures, and documentation
Qualifications :
Associate technical degree or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred1–3 years of experience in a fast-paced call center or NOC environment strongly preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional coordinationDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high-volume settingExperience with ticketing systems, remote diagnostics, and troubleshooting toolsIdeal Candidate Will Have :
Background in a centralized repair or technical support environmentProactive mindset with a sense of urgency and attention to detailAbility to work independently and exercise sound judgment
