Prescription Department Specialist

A company is looking for a Prescription Department Specialist to manage patient prescriptions and chart activities.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor patient chart activity and call-in prescriptions to pharmacies

Track prescription authorizations and verify insurance coverage

Submit prior authorizations and maintain documentation of the authorization process

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Experience with personal computers (word processing and / or electronic spreadsheets)

Preferably one year or more of experience in office work
