RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
Acts as the overall communications architect and network team manager for the MTC.Design, plan, implement, and oversee classified and unclassified MTC networks, both WAN and LAN, that support voice, data, and video services for exercises and events.Manages MTC integration and use of networks owned and managed by external organizations, including NIPR, SIPR, CENTRIXS, tactical networks, and other networks as required.Coordinates network design, requirements, and responsibilities with other MTCs and training sites, training units, and external network and communications organizations.Design and establish network architecture, coordinate network plans, configure network equipment, and assist in installing equipment and circuits in support of distributed events and exercises.Position Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in network architecture design, implementation, and management;possess an advanced knowledge in network planning, troubleshooting and maintenance;advanced knowledge of network hardware and software components;strong understanding of technology integration, information flow, configuration and implementation of LAN, WAN, DNS, DHCP; firewalls and security; and storage and backup methodologies.Must understand and be able to apply RMF methodology and the Certification and Accreditation process.Must have experience in applying network patches and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and performing other RMF Cybersecurity tasks.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS :
BA / BS degree in Information Technology or related field and IAT Level II and required CE certifications, or DCWF equivalent
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS :
Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Active Security clearance and meet other eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
